STAR 14k GOLD Rose Cut DIAMONDS Foiled Bombe Ring Dome Antique Victorian Cluster

ABOUT:
Magnificent sparkling antique cluster ring in domed bombe form with 6 old rose cut diamonds in a closed back star shaped setting with bead and acanthus leaf details around the side of the dome.  It is a real show stopper.
To me, it looks like the larger center diamond is foil backed and and the others are not as you can see the gold from the ring in the background of some of the outlining diamonds.  Center diamond is an irregular round shape, surrounded by 6 smaller diamonds that are oval or pear shaped nested into the star shaped bezel.  No hallmarks remain due to age but tests as 14k gold with a beautiful antique gold patina that is rosy in some light.  All diamonds tested with a Presidium Gem Tester.
Typical Georgian era diamonds with natural inclusions, some grayish to light champagne colored hues.  These old diamonds were meant to be seen in the low light of candle light and fireside dinners, it really glows and glitters and sparkles.
MEASUREMENTS:
Ring is currently about a size 8 1/4 just slightly under. It weighs a sturdy 6.75 grams.  The ring face is about 1.5cm in diameter if you measure it from the underside, the dome would increase that length if you measured around the top of it.  It stands about 7mm tall off the finger.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are in estate condition, especially considering age of over 100 years.  One of the side diamonds is cracked and another looks to have a small fissure that is not cracked.  Another seems more round and doesn't fit into the oblong bezel so the point may have chipped, unless it was just cut that way because they are all rough / hand cut.  Not really visible to the naked eye but seen under magnification, you should be able to see the cracked diamond in the zoomed in photos.  Just being super picky so the buyer has all the details described to my best ability.
All diamonds are present, but one is set slightly deeper with a flatter top so it reflects darker in some lights.  They are all old rose cut diamonds, cut by hand so they real have the beautifully irregular and sometimes imperfect antique look to them.  Gold is still perfectly shaped.  Under magnification at least some of the prongs look to have been reinforced.  A few shallow nicks and surface wear to the band from age.  Still a fantastic and eye catching piece with that very beautiful warm antique gold coloring and warm sparkling diamond cluster that is very eye catching.
But of course due to age - Please note this piece is not in mint condition.
As with all antique jewelry, please handle these old rings with care and very gentle wear.  You should avoid getting them wet and they are better for special occasion wear.  My jeweler likes to say "imagine carrying a 100 year old lady around on your hand, you have to be gentle and take good care!"
