Antique Victorian 10K Yellow Gold High Relief Cameo Ring w/Carved Band size 5.75

An estate found,
nineteenth century Victorian 10K solid yellow gold ring with a hand-carved high relief cameo profile portrait of a left facing classical man’s head wearing a laurel wreath
, bezel-set in a rectangular mounting, the band beautifully embossed. Offered with no reserve and a low opening bid!
The ring is an approximate size 5.75 and has a weight of
10 grams
.
It’s unmarked but has been acid  tested by us (on a stone, not the ring) and is
guaranteed to be at least 10K solid yellow gold
. Most likely American made, circa 1880. The carving is exceptional with fine detail to the man’s hair and facial features, as is the decoration on the sides of the band.
Condition:
this is a pre-owned Victorian ring that has been worn. It has light wear from gentle, normal use to include a few miniscule specks of roughness on the top right edge of the setting. The patina of the gold is shiny with a soft, mellow glow.
