    Antique Motor Travel Magazine for South Africa, 1914
    Here we have  a rare oversized travel magazine appropriately titled, TRAVEL.  It measure 10-1/4” x 13”.  Although the cover is nicely colored the 59 interior pages are black and white.  Nonetheless, there are numerous photos and period advertising to make the content interesting. This magazine, I am guessing, was the Conde Naste of its day. As for condition, the edges are quite worn, though the front cover is still attached.  This particular issue features motor travel in So. Africa with side features of the West Indies and rural Japan. It’s amazing to me that people in 1914 could subscribe to a travel magazine (25 cents per issue or per year).
