    Description

    Here is an Early American Style Bowie Belt Knife measuring 14.5" overall with a blade length of 9.5".  Blade shows a dark brown/black patina, with no visible markings. The blade/tang is one piece and has beautiful yellow patina bone handles that are smooth and lay flush with the brass pommel end and cross-guard.  Has two brass rivets with tight cracks by them.  Knife is  solid, sturdy, and a very well made piece. Has an early American Belt Knife appearance to us.  A beautiful piece that warrants further research.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
